  1. Hi Alfred,

Room 5 here! We really like the alliteration you used in your title 'Marvellous Maori'. This reminded us of when we have been using alliteration in our funny animal poems, that we write together as a class. We would have loved to hear what insects you know in Te Reo.

We now know pungawerewere (spider), te mawhitiwhiti (grass hopper) and pungarehu pungarehu (dung beetle). We found these out by googling English to Te Reo and writing some insect names in the English part.

We are happy you got a certificate at the assembly because we really enjoyed your blog post.

    From Room 5.
