What A Catch

 Walt:Keep your eyes on the ball.

Today for P.E we were having goes on the dive mat to catch the ball. My friend Miller and I caught the most. 8 out of 10 .

This is a picture of my favourite catch.

I really enjoyed it and at the end I asked our P.E teacher if we could do it every week.

I chose a Falcon because I love falcons and have a need for speed and ferociousness.

This is my falcon report.

Falcons.

Falcons are a type of bird.

Falcons have sharp talons that they use for

carrying and attacking prey.

Falcons are predators.

Peregrine falcons can reach speeds of

389km/h.(wow)

That is one of my favourite things about

falcons.(because I have the need for speed)

Falcons mainly feed on shorebirds, ducks,

grebes, gulls, pigeons, and songbirds.

Peregrine falcons also eat bats, and they

occasionally steal prey consisting of fish and

rodents from other predatory birds. 

 

Falcons are deadly and are one of the most

feared birds in the world.

They are one of the best hunters and are an

excellent guide for hunters.

Falcons are the best!

Argument About Why We Should Have Longer Play-times.

WALT:Write an argument about something

Here at NBC we think that the playtimes are too short and we are here to tell you what we think about it … 

Even the news letter from edutopia was talking about how we should have longer break times this is their newsletter. Longer breaks such as recess or playtime provide opportunities for children to learn important life skills. Research shows that when children play together, they learn how to take turns, resolve conflicts, and solve problems. They also learn how to manage their own emotions and behavior, fundamental skills for life. And if we have longer break time the teachers will have longer to talk and eat before we come in. 

We should because it could make us more healthy and more fit so that is one reason and another reason is that we actually have more fun at school cause sometimes school is very very boring. So we deserve it.

The Evidence is This 

Because I'm bored of not getting enough play time + we can get more exercise.

We want longer break time because 15 Minutes really is that all we get for morning tea we should at least have 30 minutes for starters it's more exercise and the and the recommended time is 20 and over we also need time because maybe some of us might get keeped inside for a bit and get out there when the music goes. I'm not saying that the people who have been behaving bad should get all the lunch time and not get a punishment im saying they should only miss 1 to 5 minutes and then they still get time to play 

If you came to this school what would you want 15 minutes of playtime at morning tea or 30 minutes. 

Don't you wanna have time to play or talk not just come outside and walk back in again

So if those reasons did not persuade you I don't know what will. BUT you have to at least consider changing it, think about it youll have longer breaks too. That's me done talking

This was one of our English activities. 
Sorry if you can't read my writing.(It's a little small and messy.) I had quite a bit of fun sharing this with my friends, what would've your comic strip look like?

how to make pasta my way.

Pasta is yummy, and really tasty.

This is how you make pasta.

Go to the shop get chicken, broccoli, and the pasta itself (capsicum is optional).

1. Boil the pasta.
2. Put the chicken and broccoli (and maybe the capsicum) in the pasta.
3. Put the pasta in the microwave.
4. Put a tiny bit of pepper.
5. Lastly sit back and enjoy.

That is how you make pasta.(my way.)

Pouncing Punctuation

I thought of doing accents for each animal(which is why I picked the duck) but that didn't go to plan. So instead I put a bit of humour in.(the turtle had breathing problems so the duck told him to start to take some deep breaths.)
